Shredding DaysBBB No Longer Sponsoring Shredding Days

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is not sponsoring shredding days any more. Many community organizations and local government agencies are sponsoring their own shredding and recycling events now.

The BBB urges people with paper to shred or electronics to recycle, to check with their local levels of government, local banks, and other community organizations for events in your specific areas.

In the past the BBB has appreciated your involvement in Shredding Days as we helped pioneer the concept of shredding important documents these past years. With the continued growth of dozens of smaller shredding events in city-wide neighborhoods every month, the BBB is shifting its focus to the rapid increase of Cyber Security Threats.

Below is a sampling of sources that are involved with paper shredding or electronics recycling.  Please check with these organization before going to the event to confirm the date and time.  The BBB is not sponsoring, nor is it responsible for these events and the information on these website links. We hope you find this resource page helpful for your shredding needs
