Challenge
In less than 3 weeks design and develop an event registration web site with an accompanying Administrative section. Produce the follow up after-event web site in the following week.
Solution
We designed and developed a database-driven event registration web site. The site had an opening Flash routine to establish the brand and that was carried over in the Flash navigation. Invited guests logged in to the password-protected site to register for several dozen activities over two days. An online web-interface Administrative section was developed for the event manager.
Results
• Different levels of access to the site and activities were built in to accommodate VIP level guests.
• The event manager could make instant changes to available activities, and track guest registration/activities leading up to the event and at the event.
• The registration database collected information to use in follow up marketing efforts.
• Promoted viral marketing through ABSOLUT branded photographs taken at the event and made available on the after-event web site.
