NuZoo Media Wins Horizon Interactive Award
for Online Floor Plan
(Chicago, IL) -- NuZoo Media has won a Bronze Horizon Interactive Award in the Flash category for its online, interactive Floor Plan.
The Floor Plan can be used for trade shows, conferences and other events.
"This is an especially gratifying award for Team NuZoo, because there is no easy method of conecting Flash to a SQL database and extracting information," said NuZoo president Dan Pulik. "The original code we wrote provides real-time results, and as soon as a change is made to the database the changes are reflected online.
"This is just one of many good examples of a NuZoo project where we work hard to exceed the client's expectations and win an award as a consequence."
The floor plan:
• Shows a 3-D model of the venue
• Clearly lays out the entrance, aisles and booth location
• Distinguishes between available booths and sold booths
• Pops up windows with information on available booths and exhibitors
• Has e-commerce capability to buy booth space online
• Can be designed to accommodate any floor layout with a greater
or smaller number of booths
• Can be designed to reflect the uniqueness of any event
• Links to exhibitors' web sites and emails
• Can be managed by the show organizer/manager
• Features a scrollable list of current exhibitors
• Features a key word search
The Horizon Awards saw more than 1000 entries from 20 countries around world. An international panel of judges, consisting of industry professionals with diverse backgrounds, as well as an end user panel, evaluated 18 different categories ranging from online advertising to video games.
