NuZoo Media Wins Two 2009 Horizon Awards for Company Identity Demos
(May 2009) NuZoo Media has won a Gold and a Bronze Horizon Interactive Award in the Self-Promotion/Company Identity category for promotional work for ADH Events and itself.

What Can ADH Events Do For You? won a Gold, and Cutting Edge Communications That Wow! was awarded a Bronze.

ADH Events needed a dynamic product demo to showcase its expertise as an international event planning company. NuZoo Media used a travel theme and map to visually show ADH in various locales, its ability to find unique venues and experience in managing a wide range of events. We used ADH's corporate colors, and look and feel to be consistent with the company's brand identity, and used the web site style and graphics to further brand the demo. We used a mix of graphics, video, photographs and audio within the Flash routine to make the demo energetic and comprehensive. The demo was programmed to be able to run on CD and also on the Internet.

NuZoo needed a flashy, dynamic demo to promote our wide range of services. The demo needed to play on a large screen monitor at trade shows, play on a CD, and also have the capability to play online. We used a combination of Flash, video, graphics, animation, and text and audio to showcase our expertise and the flair we bring to client projects. This approach allowed us to show a number of interactive projects as well as static images of print work. The demo embraces the NuZoo brand of cutting edge communications visually, stylistically and technically.

The Davey's received more than 4,000 entries from across the U.S. and around the world encompassing video, interactive multimedia, integrated and multimedia campaigns, marketing effectiveness, web sites, radio, advertising, print and collateral.

The Horizon Awards saw more than 1000 entries from 26 countries around world, nearly all 50 U.S. States. An international panel of judges, consisting of industry professionals with diverse backgrounds, as well as an end user panel, evaluated 18 different categories ranging from online advertising to video games. A new approach to judging was introduced which utilizes an end-user panel and various industry professionals outside the interactive media industry. The goal is to provide a clear picture of a solution that not only looks fantastic but clearly communicates a message and purpose. The winning entries from each category were an outstanding display of that blend.
