So you think you can dance? Or sing? Or play in a band? Chicago is accepting submissions for performers for the 2016 Chicago Festivals circuit. This includes the Blues Festival, Taste of Chicago and SummerDance.

One of the fabulous things about Chicago are the free festivals. Year-round you can find something to do in Millennium Park, Grant Park, the Chicago Cultural Center and many more places.
The Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) periodically accepts artist submissions for consideration for its festivals and programs. All events take place in Chicago.

The Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) is dedicated to enriching Chicago’s artistic vitality and cultural vibrancy. This includes fostering the development of Chicago’s non-profit arts sector, independent working artists and for-profit arts businesses; providing a framework to guide the City’s future cultural and economic growth, via the 2012 Chicago Cultural Plan; marketing the City’s cultural assets to a worldwide audience; and presenting high-quality, free and affordable cultural programs for residents and visitors.
